 Advisory Neighborhood Commission 3F
 A Resolution

Whereas,

 Advisory Neighborhood Commission 3F supports the use of smaller buses on residential streets because they mitigate high noise levels, reduce vibrations which damage homes, and reduce the dangers posed to neighbors especially children and senior citizens;

Whereas,

 Advisory Neighborhood Commission 3F in April 1998 strongly encouraged Metro to investigate the feasibility of using newly purchased smaller buses on the current H2 route, specifically the portion the route that includes Veazey Street NW; and

Whereas

 The current proposal would diminish direct crosstown service;

Therefore,

 Be it resolved, that Advisory Neighborhood Commission 3F strongly encourages the Metro Board of Directors to approve replacement of large buses on Veazey Street with small buses without diminution of direct crosstown service.
