Re: Upton Street Traffic Calming

Dear Ms. Pourciau:

At a duly noticed public meeting on October 16, 2006, Advisory Neighborhood Commission 3F heard residents’ concerns that the single speed hump planned for the 3600 block of Upton Street, N.W., would not slow traffic sufficiently. After considering this matter, ANC 3F voted 3-1-0, with a quorum present, to ask DDOT to install the single speed hump originally planned and to consider other traffic calming measures if that does not cut speeding sufficiently.
