Dear Ms. Witkor:

Advisory Neighborhood Commission 3F is writing you to request a postponement of the consideration of the Public Space Application #04-018 for a sidewalk café for the restaurant Tesoro at 4400 Connecticut Avenue, N.W. The Commission received its first official notice of the application on June 18. As our next meeting was June 21, there was insufficient time to notify the neighborhood of the pending action or for the Commissioners to study the application or the accompanying drawings.

As our next scheduled meeting will be July 19, we request that you place the Tesoro application on the agenda of a meeting subsequent to that date.

Also, I wish to remind you that we are still requesting a postponement of the consideration of the Public Space Application #04-023 of Buck’s Fishing and Camping Restaurant, 5031 Connecticut Avenue, N.W. This Commission has yet to receive from the applicant an accurate rendition of his plan in the context of the surrounding area or satisfactory answers to other questions such as seating arrangements and railing design.
