ANC 3F understands that the Office of Planning will present the Upper Wisconsin Avenue Corridor Study - Strategic Framework Plan to the community on Monday, October 27, 2003. This study covers the Wisconsin Avenue commercial corridor from Rodman Street, N.W., to Western Avenue. Part of this area, from the Friendship Post Office just south of Upton Street to Brandywine Street, is within ANC 3F, and more specifically, in Single Member Districts 3F01 and 3F06.

At a duly noticed public meeting on October 20, 2003, ANC 3F considered the need to hear from all segments of the public, the constraints posed by the upcoming holidays, and the advantage of working with other affected ANCs to formulate a response to the draft Plan. ANC 3F voted 5-1-0, with a quorum present (a quorum being 4) to join ANC 3E in requesting a 90-day period in which to consider the draft Plan, with a response from ANC 3F due on January 27, 2004. ANC 3F also joins ANC 3E in requesting that no applications for planned unit developments or map amendments in the study area be set down prior to the release of the final Plan.

In accordance with the ANC Act, DC Code Section 1-309.10 (b), we request that copies of the draft Plan be sent to:
