Set Down Item on Agenda for April 19, 2002 

Dear Zoning Commissioners:

At its duly noticed regular business meeting on April 15, 2002, with a quorum of all seven commissioners present, ANC 3F preliminarily considered the petition filed by the Forest Hills Citizens Association (FHCA) on April 5, 2002, for a Tree and Slope Overlay Map Amendment and the Memorandum of the Office of Planning (dated April 10 and filed April 11, 2002) regarding setting down the FHCA petition for public hearing, particularly OP's conclusions and recommendation "that the Zoning Commission setdown this application for public hearing and further review." Virtually all of the proposed Overlay District is located in ANC 3F. Because the proposed Overlay District abuts ANCs 3C and 3G and/or includes some Federal Reservation land in them, those ANC s may also be interested in the proposal.

ANC 3F, by a vote of 4-2-1, directed me to report to you that this ANC concurs in the OP recommendation for setdown, and that we will work with OP and consult with the FHCA and the residents of our community to further analyze the proposed overlay and report to you.
